While we do not provide overnight care, our team is here to help with same-day appointments and walk-ins for suffering dogs and cats that need prompt care. When does a pet need urgent care?
If your pet is experiencing a sudden health issue or injury that’s not life-threatening but still requires timely medical attention, urgent care may be the right option. Here are some of the common reasons to bring your pet in for urgent care:
- Persistent Vomiting or Diarrhea
- Ear Infections (redness, swelling, or discharge)
- Wound Care (cuts, scrapes, or bites)
- Kennel Cough (coughing, sneezing, nasal discharge)

In the case of a true medical emergency, call us immediately.
While Green Level Animal Hospital is not an emergency veterinary facility, we may be able to stabilize your pet and provide temporary care before referring them to a specialty emergency hospital. This can be especially helpful in situations where time is of the essence, and immediate stabilization could make a difference.
